Copper-toned louvres cut a diagonal across the frame, each slat catching the last flat light before the storm closes in. Shot from street level looking up, the brise-soleil panels of this Amsterdam Zuid commercial building become a graphic field of parallel lines — warm against a sky that has gone almost entirely grey. The facade earns its geometry; the weather earns its weight.
