Horizontal aluminium fins stack from ground to roofline in a dense, repeating rhythm — the brise-soleil skin of a research building at Amsterdam Science Park, shot at a sharp angle that foreshortens the facade into near-abstraction. The louvre pattern does two jobs at once: it regulates solar gain and turns the building envelope into a graphic surface. Clear summer sky pulls the cool aluminium into sharp relief against the blue.
