Glass Curtain Wall with Vertical Fins, Amsterdam Science Park
5 May 2025 · Amsterdam Science Park
Vertical aluminium fins run the full height of this high-rise curtain wall at Amsterdam Science Park, their rhythm only broken by the curve of the corner. Raking light catches each fin at a slightly different angle, so the facade reads as both a flat graphic surface and a three-dimensional structure at the same time. The deep blue of the sky doesn't sit behind the building — it sits inside it, reflected back across the glass in shifting bands. Architecture as surface study, where geometry and light do the same work.
