Low-angle upward view of two buildings at Amsterdam Science Park: a dark ribbed corrugated metal facade tower on the right and a glazed concrete curtain wall on the left, with a narrow channel of clear sky between them.

Dark Corrugated Cladding and Glass Facade, Amsterdam Science Park

5 May 2025 · Amsterdam Science Park

Two buildings, two materials, one frame. Shot from street level looking straight up, the ribbed dark metal tower and the glazed concrete wing compress into a single graphic composition — the pale sky between them doing as much work as the facades themselves. Amsterdam Science Park architecture at its most direct: no ornament, just mass and surface pushed against each other. The tonal weight of the corrugated cladding earns its place in monochrome; the deep shadow register strips out everything but geometry.
