The barrel roof of Universum cuts a clean arc against a deep, cloudless sky — form reduced to its most legible geometry. Amsterdam Science Park's university sports centre earns its name in the curve: a single continuous line from edge to edge, the USC Sport shield the only interruption. Monochrome pulls the tiled facade and the glazed drum into the same tonal register, where the architecture makes its argument without ornament.
