Low upward angle on a mid-century glazed facade at Amsterdam Science Park. White-framed curtain wall grid fills the frame; a decorative round clock is mounted centrally. A canopy overhang is visible at the bottom, deep blue sky and a single cloud above.

Modernist Clock Facade at Amsterdam Science Park

5 May 2025 · Amsterdam Science Park

A mid-century curtain wall fills the frame at Amsterdam Science Park — white-framed glazing running edge to edge, the sky reflected back in deep tonal panels. Centred on the grid, a decorative clock marks the facade as public and purposeful. The geometry is the composition: every vertical and horizontal pulled flat, the building reduced to its structural logic. One small cloud drifts in the upper right, the only thing on the site that isn't fixed in place.
