Leiderdorp's historic watertoren fills the frame at golden hour, its octagonal brick body cantilevered over a ring of splayed concrete buttresses. The warm terracotta panels and decorative Art Nouveau frieze are built for the late-day light — the sun pulls every relief detail forward. Industrial infrastructure designed with this much architectural intent is its own argument: utility and ornament are not opposites here, they reinforce each other.
