Low sun over the Leiderdorp canal, diffused through haze into a pale disc that lays a column of warm gold straight down the water. A small boat cuts across the foreground in silhouette, two figures aboard, the wake spreading into ripples that break the reflection apart. Moored canal boats and sailboat masts line both banks, the whole scene held in backlit amber.
