A Dutch canal in Leiderdorp at golden hour, the low sun sitting dead centre above the waterway and dragging a broken trail of light all the way to the foreground. Moored boats and sailboat masts line both banks in deep silhouette, the warm-graded sky pressing down flat against the water. The canal holds the sky better than the sky holds itself — every ripple in the reflection carries more warmth than the overcast above it. A strong leading-line composition that pulls the eye straight toward the sun.
