Lily Pads on a Cloud-Reflecting Pond, Leiderdorp

Green lily pads scattered across a still pond near Leiderdorp, the water surface holding a near-perfect reflection of summer clouds and tree canopy above. The pads sit on the water; the sky sits underneath them — two planes of light occupying the same surface. Shot in warm afternoon light, the Halcyon grade pulls the green of the Nymphaea leaves toward something softer without losing their weight against the dark water.
