Phragmites reeds catch the last of the evening light at a wetland reserve near Leiderdorp, South Holland. The dry stems hold a warm amber against the fresh green of the treeline behind them — last season's growth still standing as spring pushes through. This is the polder landscape at its quietest: flat, patient, and lit from the side.
