Glass Atrium Curtain Wall, The Hague
1 May 2025 · The Hague
Looking straight up through a glazed roof in The Hague, the curtain wall mullion grid layers over the interior facade and compresses into pure structural pattern. Two grids occupying the same plane — one the architecture, one its enclosure — held in place by a circular oculus that anchors the geometry before it tips into abstraction. Monochrome removes the colour cast and lets the tonal contrast between pale facade and dark steel do the work the eye was already trying to do.
