Glass Tower Corner, The Hague — Structural Bracing Detail

1 May 2025 · The Hague

Shot from directly below the corner of a contemporary office tower in The Hague, this frame makes the curtain wall's exposed diagonal bracing the subject. The steel lattice sits behind the glass skin, visible through it — structure and surface occupying the same plane at once. Solar shading fins along the roofline add a second layer of geometry against a clear Dutch sky. The worm's-eye angle compresses the two faces of the building into a single converging edge, pulling the eye up toward where the tower meets the blue.
