Office Tower with Copper Crown, The Hague

1 May 2025 · The Hague

The Hague's postmodern skyline has a habit of announcing itself loudly, and this office tower is no exception. Warm red brick climbs sixteen storeys before giving way to a verdigris copper crown — a structural canopy of curved ribs and green-patinated steel that flares outward like a ship's prow against clear summer sky. The brick does the weight; the crown does the drama. Pushed to graphic contrast, the two-tone palette reads less like an office building and more like an architectural argument made in copper and clay.
