Urban Layers in The Hague — Brick, Glass and Curtain Wall

1 May 2025 · The Hague

Three architectural eras stack into a single frame in The Hague's office district. A cream brick building anchors the foreground; behind it, a wave-form glazed mid-rise curves across the skyline; and a curtain-wall tower cuts hard into the upper right. Each layer is distinct in material and era, yet the compression of the composition makes them read as one continuous city — built fast, built in argument with itself.
