Worm's eye view of a modern glass skyscraper in The Hague, Netherlands. The blade-thin western edge of the tower rises sharply against a deep blue sky, with the curved curtain wall and diagonal roofline forming a strong compositional wedge.

Glass Skyscraper, The Hague — Blade Edge Against Blue Sky

1 May 2025 · The Hague

The western edge of this high-rise office tower in The Hague comes to a razor-thin blade, the curved curtain wall pulling the eye up to a diagonal roofline that cuts clean across the blue. Geometry is the whole argument here — the repeating grid of the glass facade does the detail work while the building's silhouette does the drama. Corporate architecture pushed to its graphic limit: every window a unit, every floor a step toward a vanishing point that lands somewhere above the frame.
