Prunus Kanzan in full bloom, photographed from below in a public park in Leiderdorp, South Holland. The double-flowered canopy fills the frame in dense clusters of soft pink — hundreds of blooms layered against a pale blue spring sky. Gaps in the canopy pull light through the branches and give the composition room to breathe. The warm grade of the Halcyon Collection suits the season well: the blossoms bring the colour, the clear sky holds them up.
