Arnhem Centraal — Parametric Canopy and Escalator Curves

The undulating white canopy at Arnhem Centraal is the building's argument — a continuous surface that folds, rises, and cuts against the glazed facade behind it. UNStudio's geometry is neither decorative nor structural in any conventional sense; it does both at once, and the distinction stops mattering. The escalator curves below mirror the ceiling's logic, pulling the eye from the concourse floor up through the full height of the hall in one unbroken movement.
