A weathered wooden boardwalk runs along the flank of a pale rendered building in Paris, its riveted steel balustrade pulling the eye toward a brick residential block and a canopy of trees beyond. The geometry is clear — the receding planks and bolted rail give the frame its direction — while the flat overcast sky holds everything in the same quiet, even light.
