Cookie policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage studiotj.com uses, grouped by category. Strictly necessary items and cookieless analytics run without consent; marketing tags load only after you opt in. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — see How to change or withdraw consent below.

Necessary

These are required for the site to function and are always on. They store no marketing or advertising data.

  • studiotj_consent — first-party cookie that remembers your cookie choices (version, timestamp, and whether marketing is allowed). Set by StudioTJ. Retention: 6 months.
  • __cf_bm — Cloudflare bot management, set automatically on traffic served through Cloudflare's CDN to tell humans from automated traffic.
  • Stripe Checkout cookies — set by Stripe on its own checkout pages while you are paying.
  • Cart storage — a small amount of browser storage (session cookie or local storage, depending on your browser) that remembers what you have added to your cart while browsing.

Analytics (Umami)

Website analytics uses Umami, a privacy-first, cookieless tool. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and processes no personal data — it counts page views and aggregate trends only. Because it is cookieless and used purely for audience measurement, it requires no consent under the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet (Art. 11.7a) and therefore loads for every visitor.

Umami is self-hosted on EU infrastructure (a server in Germany); the data is not shared with a third-party analytics provider. It is disclosed here for transparency, not because consent is needed.

Marketing

Marketing tags load only if you opt in via the marketing category. They are off by default; if you do not consent, they are never loaded and set no cookies.

Pinterest tag — active

The Pinterest tag (Pinterest conversion tag) measures visits and actions that originate from Pinterest, so the reach of this work can be understood. It is provided by Pinterest Europe Ltd. Enhanced match is deliberately switched off — no email or other identifying data is passed to Pinterest. When enabled, it loads core.js from s.pinimg.com and may set cookies in the pinterest.com / pinimg.com domains.

  • _pinterest_ct_ua, _pin_unauth, _epik — set by Pinterest to attribute conversions and measure campaign performance. Purpose: marketing measurement. Retention: up to 1 year (per Pinterest's own policy).

TikTok pixel — not currently active

Reserved for future use and listed here for transparency. It is not loaded today and sets no cookies. When it goes live, this page is updated and consent is requested again.

Meta pixel — not currently active

Reserved for future use and listed here for transparency. It is not loaded today and sets no cookies. When it goes live, this page is updated and consent is requested again.

How to change or withdraw consent

Open the preference centre at any time using the link in the footer of every page. There you can turn the marketing category on or off and save your choice. Withdrawing consent stops the marketing tags from loading on your next navigation.

You can also clear cookies in your browser. Removing the studiotj_consent cookie makes the banner appear again on your next visit.

Changes to this policy

When the set of cookies changes — a new marketing vendor goes live, for example — this page is updated, the consent version is incremented, and returning visitors are asked to choose again. Material changes are dated at the top of this page. See also the privacy policy.
